The case is the very same used in the Zeitwerk Striking Time, coming it at 44 mm in diameter. It is even the same thickness, which is welcome – many assumed a minute repeater would force Lange to make it even deeper. Here, it is solid 950 platinum, and looks just fantastic against the silver dial.

But, as I mentioned above, this isn’t your average repeater – it’s a decimal repeater. That means that instead of chiming hours, quarters, and minutes, it chimes hours, 10 minutes, and minutes. It is far more difficult to complete this task, and makes the time much easier to understand while ringing. It also means that, for the first time, you can hear and see the time simultaneously.
