Full set and double signed are two very coveted characteristics in the vintage world, and this Memovox ticks both boxes – not to mention that it comes on its original Gay Frères bracelet. The seller’s pictures, while stylish, would have been more informative if they had been in color, but they do not fail to show the extensive paper trail that comes with the watch, documenting a sale at Türler in 1967. The 37mm case is announced as unpolished with superficial scratches, and both crowns are correctly signed. All the lume dots are whole and present on the Türler-signed dial, but I wish the hands were a bit more widely separated in the photos, in order to better make out the condition of their lume (represented by the seller as blemish-free). Inside runs the automatic caliber K825, as seen in the Memovox that we wore for a A Week On The Wrist.
This Memovox can be found on the French forum Chronomania, where the seller has set the price at €5,400 (approximately $6,100 at time of publishing) – a strong ask, but he is also open to offers.
