The rotor regulation system makes a lot more sense when you can actually watch the turbines spin. Moving the regulator switch to the “Reduced” position, you can see the dampening turbine spin and slow the rotor, while everything completely locks up in the “Stop” position. To get a feel for the efficiency indicator, you really have to wear the watch around though, since it’s measuring changes over a 2 hour period.
Overall, a very engaging watch from the guys at Urwerk, and one that’s even better in person than it sounds on paper.
