Today saw the launch of a new technology vertical from The New Yorker Magazine called “Elements”.  Headed by former Gizmodo and Buzzfeed man Matt Buchanan, the segment’s first “Object of Interest” is a watch!

It’s Seiko’s awesome Memory Bank Calendar, to be exact, and it gets a some serious love in this new stream from one of the most respected publications in town.  Check out what Buchanan had to say about this early complicated digital watch (that was also a Bond watch in its own right) over at the New Yorker’s new Elements channel.
